Pardon Me Miss...

Usually when I come across a customer walking amongst the isles at work I ask them in a polite manner how they are... The other day, this lady who is a regular customer, and is always very quiet, was perusing the candy isle and I asked her how she was. She YELLED at me: "NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS" So now when i see her in the store, I nod politely and say nothing to her.

Would be nice to kick her arse, but a nod and wave keeps her a customer!! I agree w/ Ladyg mental case!!!

I think some people are just so afraid of other people, they fear interaction even as they so desperately need it. This woman could be a very sad and unhappy person. Maybe you could venture at least one more time to be nice to her? Naah? Yeah, I understand!
